The catch up.
Right now, I am on the fourth week of a five-week diet. The diet I am on is a anti-inflammatory diet, and it is pretty much a standard elimination diet where you take 75% of the foods you eat, out of your diet for a few weeks. The diet eliminates all sweeteners, red meats, dairy, wheat’s and peanuts. I personally also eliminated corn from the diet because I was intolerant to Corn up to third grade. Besides the food that is eliminated from the diet, I can eat as much food as I want at a meal as long as I follow the other rule of proportions. To every 1/3 protein and grain I eat I must have 2/3 fruits and veggies. So if I eat 2 eggs I must have 3 big mushrooms and a apple. The only exception is breakfast, where it is 1/2 and 1/2. Another rule is that I must have five meals a day; this is so I make sure I am getting the nutrients I need. It also makes it so if I eat, it counts as a meal thus eliminating snacking. These are the rules I follow for the first three weeks (or for me the first 4 weeks). There are a few more tricks to the first three weeks of the diet, but they are the presenter’s style to the diet and I fear if I said them I would be breaking copyright laws, but this is the general gist of things. On week four, what I am suppose to be doing is testing the food to see if they can go back into what I eat, But unfortunately I am a week behind because of finals so I will explain what to do on the forth week, next week.
That was the diet and now its time you got to know me. When I started the diet three weeks ago I was 354 pounds, I was a very, VERY unhealthy indusial. I slowly gained this weight after third grade when I lost my intolerance to Corn and I gained a wide range of Food I was able to eat. Up until now, I ate an unhealthy and unbalanced diet. That mostly consisted of going out to eat at restaurants. Now though with my moms loving and financial support, (My mom is also on the diet, maybe I can get her to blog too) I am planning to lose all my extra weight, but for this summer I am planning at least to get out of the 300 range. In addition, I hope by the end of the year I will no longer be obese and I will just be overweight…Oh and I forgot to mention after the first three weeks of this diet, I am down to 335 pounds, a total of 19 pounds lost. Well on my way to achieving my goals
Now that a caught you up to speed with the diet and where I am, it is time to do a daily report. School got out yesterday. Therefore, this now gives me some time to walk and write this blog. On my first walk, I went up to a town that is by where I live and then I walked back home, According to Google maps, the town is a little over 2 miles both ways. I didn’t even realize that I walked 4 miles today. The walk took me about an hour and a half. Yeah I’m slow I know I will speed up in time, don’t worry. In the next few days, I will in my daily reports talk about what I am eating, give out recipes, and show pictures. Although, for today I have only eaten breakfast, and it was a lame breakfast, before posting and I just wanted to catch everyone up to were I am and to send the first post off.

great job elmo!
I have a friend who is on a similar diet because of Lupus. She started a few months ago… I will send your blog to her.
I wouldnt worry about going slow, at least your getting active, you can speed up as you go along.
I really need to loose some weight, but so hard with my current health problems to be active or exercise. I am suppose to eat 5-6 meals a day, but dang sometimes thats hard. specially when I was working,, took so much planning.
I’m proud for ya, keep up the work! In the end you will feel better and be healthier.
