daily post/ last nights dinner
I guess that today I will explain part of what to do on week four, seeing that today I started adding wheat to my diet. So on week four we are going to be testing four foods wheat, dairy, corn, and peanuts. Today I will explain how to test the wheat. My mom and I will be testing wheat for two days. We must have wheat at every meal expect breakfast. This is because our presenter does not want us having gain for breakfast. (no toast
) After testing for two days, we have to mark down all the symptoms we had with the food. Then wait two days at least, and if the symptoms are still there wait until they are gone. Then we cannot have wheat again until we have finished testing the other items. I will give a wrap up in the coming days of how testing went and how I am feeling.
Today is Sunday and every Sunday I go to church, but today I decided to, instead of driving, walk to church. The walk is about 5.3 miles from my house to the church, and this walk took me a one-hour and forty minutes. It has been a few hours now after the walk and my right knee is hurting badly, again. This also happened to me the first time I walked as well. I think I might be putting to pressure on my right knee when I walk. On terms of food, it was a food-clearing day. I ate the bit of leftovers we had, finished off the eggs and then ate cauliflower among other things. I still don’t know how I feel about cauliflower, it tastes weird but when you are hungry it will do.
Now I bet you are so curious about that picture. Last night’s dinner as you can see is a soup with a salad, that had dressing on it. To cover the salad it is bagged lettuce with olives (lots of olives) a few mushrooms and a homemade dressing on it. The dressing is what I call the “Poor mans vinaigrette”. My mom has told me many times now that it is not vinaigrette but I don’t care that is what I am calling it. Anyway, what I do is I steal my mom’s mayonnaise recipe. You find that recipe here. (http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/alton-brown/mayonnaise-recipe/index.html) Just a little Fyi though, my mom didn’t add the sugar and she used olive oil. In addition, with the soup recipes there really isn’t one. From what I understand my mom just kind of puts things it the chicken stock, allows it to cook and then calls it done. Oh well, at least it tastes good. (look at the last post to see the picture.)
The Soup

2. Chicken
3. Carrots
4. Celery, mushrooms

Quinoa is legit, bummer about the knee. Are there any places to exercise on Vashon? Eliptical is your answer.
